The geographical features of the Qing dynasty is on this map and as you can see there are spots of this map that are red and by the key the more red means the higher the elevation and that means that the really red spots are 5000 meters high and  that means there is a mountain right there and there are also allot of rivers and little body's of water in the middle of the Qing dynasty ans that was good for farming and for other needs.

The Qing dynasty was Confucianism . They had Confucianism  because they believed that having a well taught and organized empire was the best. they thought Confucianism was the best because they were well educated and that meant that they could do more things and figure out and solve more problems. this helped them do defend themselves also they would outsmart the enemy.

Porcelain was invented in the 1600's in the west and it was used allot in the Qing dynasty. Porcelain was used for about everything they used to hold stuff in and its basically plates, bowls, and others things like "fine china." porcelain is hard and white and in china its everywhere its like a tradition to have it there.

opinion/editorial

The Qing dynasty is now better because the opium war now finally over and we can all just calm down. Finally the people of the Qing dynasty can focus on their jobs and get their lives back on track. The Qing dynasty doesn't like opium cause all the people abused the power of it for their own satisfaction like our troops got hurt on purpose so they could take opium and that's just not right and we should had stopped that and now we have. when the opium war started we hated it because we had to do stuff that we didn't want to.All the people around here should had stepped up but the army would had killed all of us like we were nothing.

Beijing is around where New York is in America. Including this map shows what was there at the time such as rivers and ponds etc. This shows the borders of the Qing dynasty.

News Article

           The war is finally over! the three year long struggle for winning is finally over. The war started all because of trading with between China and Britain with trading goods such as tea and other products. Also China was supposed to be payed by silver because the Emperor like that and he wanted all China to pay in a curncy of just silver and not all diffrent kinds of types of money.

           Then the British started trading opium and opium was bad because it is a drug that people thought was medicine because it made them feel better like a painkiller but that only worked for a short period of time and people just gt high of it and wouldn't do there job so that was bad to the Emperor because he wanted his work done and this was very bad for his army because they would be slacking and not on there to game.

           Then after all of that the golden age of the Qing dynasty ended and then an armed invasion of China by foreign capitalists started and they were forced to sign treaties which said that China had to open trade ports and eventually become a colonized country. that's what started the first part of the opium war.
